Supporting Adults with Learning Disabilities
Founded in 1999, 3 Trees was established to support people with complex needs who were being excluded from social and community activities. Using their expertise, our founders created opportunities for meaningful community integration, a person-centred and inclusive approach that continues to define us today.
We are committed to planning for the future, evolving to meet the needs of our services. Our strength lies in our dedicated, hardworking staff, whose contributions are truly valued and form the foundation of our success.
Supporting the Team

We believe that the health and happiness of our carers directly influence the well-being of our clients.
That’s why supporting our team members through thick and thin is a top priority. We actively listen to their feedback and encourage participation, fostering a culture where every voice is valued.
We place as much importance on our staff as we do on those we support because happy team members make exceptional carers. This approach resonates deeply, with many of our staff likening 3 Trees to a family, often sharing stories of how our managers and even directors have supported them both personally and professionally.
Supported Living is about helping individuals to live as independently as possible within their own homes. This is 3 Trees' main model of care and best suits our ethos.
In addition to our Support Living services, we also provide Outreach services. This is a great opportunity for those living at home with their families, to access their local communities with 3 Trees staff.
3 Trees aim to be a centre of excellence, providing flexible, highly trained and reliable staff that are supported in their role.
Producing positive outcomes is an integral part of who 3 Trees are and what we aspire to be. If we’re not bettering the lives of others, then we’re not doing what we set out to do.
The CQC, an independent regulator of health and social care services in the United Kingdom, conducts meticulous evaluations to ensure organisations like ours meet the necessary standards of quality and safety.

What is Personal Care?
The Care Quality Commission (CQC) defines personal care as “supporting people in their homes (or where they’re living at the time) with things like washing, bathing or cleaning themselves, getting dressed or going to the toilet.”
What do our staff say?
“Personal care is just one aspect of being a carer. It’s natural for some to feel daunted at first, but think about how quickly you complete your own personal care routine—those we support are no different and want to move on with their day. Delivering personal care requires trust, and knowing I’ve earned that trust makes my work deeply rewarding. It enables someone to feel good about themselves and confidently engage in their community. To me, being a support worker is a privilege because I get to make living possible.”
Our person-centred, inclusive approach has driven our success, and that ethos remains at the core of 3 Trees today.
At 3 Trees, personal care may include:
-
Personal Hygiene (such as bathing, showering, hair washing, shaving, oral hygiene and nail care)
-
Support with continence
-
Applying lotions and creams as required
-
Dressing
-
Applying make-up and hair care
Delivering Adult Care Services the 3 Trees Way
Everything we do is tailored to the needs of the individuals that we support.
We work in partnership with those we support and their families to create an individual package of care to ensure they achieve their goals and aspirations.
Our care needs assessments identify what people are hoping to achieve and together we agree on their potential outcomes.
