Community

A true community goes beyond mere proximity or social connections; it’s about feeling genuinely connected and responsible for one another. Humanity is our ultimate community, and each of us plays a crucial role in its well-being.

Our Community

Community has always been at the heart of 3 Trees. While our name changed from '3 Trees Community Support' to '3 Trees Care & Support' to better reflect our services, our mission remains the same: to support adults with learning disabilities in their communities and promote social inclusion.

We recognise the importance of strong social networks, positive relationships, and meaningful connections in enhancing health and well-being. Loneliness and social isolation can have serious effects, including a higher risk of physical health decline, depression, and other health concerns.

Whether it’s building connections with your colleagues or the people you support, feeling part of a community is essential for well-being. At 3 Trees, we strive to create an environment where everyone feels valued and connected.

The Wider Community

Winston Churchill once said, “We make a living by what we get, but we make a life by what we give.”

At 3 Trees, we believe that by engaging with the wider community, we can make an even greater impact. We actively build partnerships with local businesses and organisations worldwide to support and give back to others. If you or your organisation are dedicated to helping others and believe we could contribute to your cause, please reach out via our ‘Connect’ page. We’d love to hear from you and explore how we can make a difference together.

Building partnerships with others is a fundamental step towards what we are trying to achieve.

From 24-hour walks, to cake sales, to supporting our own members of staff through difficult times, we have participated in dozens of fundraising activities in our time.

We are affiliated with various organisations, always seeking to work collaboratively to deliver the highest standards of employment and service.
