You may not have worked in social care before and as a result, you’re a little apprehensive of what is required. Or you’re just a little nervous about leaving your last social care job and are wondering if you’ve made the right decision. Not a problem. We’ve got your back!
We have seen a lot of people apply to 3 Trees who are nervous about taking on the responsibility of care work. We aim to change this by providing you with the support and training you need.
After successful completion of your induction, you will shadow experienced members of staff who will guide you through what you need to do. You will have a chance to meet members of your team and get to know the people you will be supporting
You will have already been trained on the ethos, values and vision of the company. You will have received all mandatory training and you will have immersed yourself digitally into your team and the company.
You will have read all the necessary paperwork to enable you to feel ready to deliver the best support possible to the people you will be working with. Now it is time for the hands-on work!
Expect to be welcomed into your team with open arms. The people at 3 Trees are hardworking but also very friendly so you will find yourself in good company.
Your days will vary depending on who you are supporting but this is what keeps things interesting! An experienced member of staff will introduce you to the people you will be supporting and at this stage we’ll simply be looking to build rapport.
We'll support you at every step
The experienced member of staff you will be shadowing will make you feel at home. They will show you the 3 Trees’ way of doing things and will encourage you to be pro-active in your working practices.
They will encourage you to play an active part in providing support from the very get-go.
If you have any questions or concerns, they will be there to answer them or to point you in the right direction.
Social care requires social people
