Outstanding Care

We’re eagerly awaiting our next CQC inspection, ready to showcase how we’ve progressed from a ‘Good’ rating to what we truly believe is an ‘Outstanding’ level of care.

Our Current Rating

At 3 Trees, our current CQC rating is ‘Good,’ but for us, ‘good’ is simply not good enough. We’re dedicated to constantly improving our service delivery, regardless of our rating.

Our last inspection in October 2018 awarded us an ‘Outstanding’ in the responsive category, but we were determined to achieve an overall ‘Outstanding’ rating. Since then, we’ve made a concerted effort to reach this goal. We’ve invested time in research, engaged in meaningful conversations, and studied relevant materials—all to ensure we deliver the highest standard of care and increase our chances of achieving CQC’s ‘Outstanding’ rating.

What Outstanding Means

Q: Why did the scarecrow win an award?

A: Because he was outstanding in his field.

At 3 Trees, we believe that the sense of fulfilment from delivering meaningful care far outweighs any awards or trophies. While we appreciate the value of award ceremonies and recognition, our philosophy aligns with the saying, "It's nice to be important, but more important to be nice."

Our priority is the effective, compassionate delivery of care. As Isaac Theophilos aptly describes in his book, How to Get Outstanding: An Ultimate Guide for Care Homes, “Outstanding is going the extra mile for the people you look after, over and beyond the duty of care, and making a measurable difference to their health and well-being.”

Why is it Important to Us?

At 3 Trees, the pursuit of outstanding care goes beyond CQC ratings. It’s all about the journey, not just the destination.

We are not only committed to providing exceptional care practices, but we also take joy in the process.

We’ve developed a system to ensure we’re not only meeting CQC guidelines but also documenting and evidencing our good practices. This approach enables us to continuously reflect, improve, and adapt—enhancing the support we provide to both our care staff and services.

Our commitment to self-improvement keeps us motivated and fuels our passion for caring for others.

Supported Living is about helping individuals to live as independently as possible within their own homes. This is 3 Trees' main model of care and best suits our ethos.

In addition to our Support Living services, we also provide Outreach services. This is a great opportunity for those living at home with their families, to access their local communities with 3 Trees staff.

Producing positive outcomes is an integral part of who 3 Trees are and what we aspire to be. If we’re not bettering the lives of others, then we’re not doing what we set out to do.

The CQC, an independent regulator of health and social care services in the United Kingdom, conducts meticulous evaluations to ensure organisations like ours meet the necessary standards of quality and safety.
