Fundraising

From 24-hour walks, to cake sales, to supporting our own members of staff through difficult times, we have participated in dozens of fundraising activities in our time.

Putting the 'fun' into fundraising

We see fundraising as a great opportunity to not only raise funds for some much worthy and needed causes, but also to have some fun whilst we’re doing it!

Bringing people together to do some good in the world is what we at 3 Trees are all about! Over the years we have participated in many events such as raising funds for our colleagues who have found themselves in poor health, baking cakes to raise money for cancer, participating in fun runs and much more.

One of our favourite fundraisers was the 3 peak challenge where a group of 3 Trees staff had to ascend the UK’s 3 highest mountains in under 24 hours! What a challenge! And what fun! We ended up raising over £2000 for a charity that supported people to express themselves through the form of dance.

We hope to do more fundraisers like this and continue to raise funds for worthy causes outside of 3 Trees.

Teamwork

Having a shared, common purpose is integral to excellent teamwork.

That’s why fundraising works so well. Amassing a team of like-minded people to raise money for a cause that they whole heartedly believe in is what makes fundraising so successful.

When you have a shared common purpose, and are participating in something fun or challenging, group members can often connect with one another, forming deeper relationships and camaraderie.

So whilst giving back to a worthy cause, we can also form deeper bonds with our co-workers and increase the positive emotions that people feel whilst at work.
