Induction

We pride ourselves on an intensive, 2-week induction where we make sure you have the skills and confidence to be the best social care worker you can be.

We're fed up of the horror stories

We want lack of induction and poor-quality training to be a thing of the past.

We at 3 Trees aim to do things differently.

Our induction is designed to be a friendly and engaging experience where you will meet lots of other 3 Trees staff who hold different roles. Each person will induct you on their area of expertise and will welcome you into the 3 Trees family

Feel free to head on over to our ‘meet the team’ page where you will see the people that you will get to know better on our induction.

Expect to be supported at every stage! On successful completion of your interview, we will be in touch to arrange the
relevant paperwork.

You’ll also be invited to attend our next induction and be given access to our welcome pack, training syllabus, and induction timetable.

Our digital department will ensure that you are invited into our online community. Here you will be able to delve a little deeper into how we operate and get to know others who may be on the same induction as you.

You will also be able to begin any of the e-learning courses that may be available to you (although we prefer to do things face to face if possible)!

By the time you arrive at our 2-week induction, you will have spoken to multiple people from across the company – including our directors. You will be feeling good about your decision to join us!

……Now the real training begins.

We'll support you at every step

Typically, you’ll be invited to our headquarters based in Westbury-On-Trym, Bristol. After receiving your own designated parking space, you will meet with colleagues and experience some face-to-face training in our engaging and modern workspace.

We prefer face to face training but sometimes this is simply not possible or even convenient for our inductees. One of the things we wish to provide our staff is ‘convenience’. A lot of the training and resources can be accessed online via our engaging digital platform. Don’t worry if you haven’t got a laptop, we’ll drop one off to you.

If you have not worked in care before, it is required that you complete the care certificate. How long it takes you to complete this depends on if you have chosen to work part/full time.

To make the completion of care certificate more convenient and accessible, we have digitalised it. No more lugging around heavy workbooks!! Our training department will also be ready to help with any questions or concerns you have regarding its completion.

You’ll complete the care certificate whilst working through our many training courses designed to help you be the best social care worker you can be. After 2 weeks of training, you’ll be eager to leave the classroom and apply all your newfound skills!

For more information on the training provided, please visit our ‘training’ page.

Social care requires social people

It’s good that the company
has an open door policy for
all the staff.

I know that if I had any concerns, the company would listen to me.
